Palin & Grammar IV

Another winner:

"Of course, it's a fungible commodity and they don't flag, you know, the molecules, where it's going and where it's not. But in the sense of the Congress today, they know that there are very, very hungry domestic markets that need that oil first. So, I believe that what Congress is going to do, also, is not to allow the export bans to such a degree that it's Americans who get stuck holding the bag without the energy source that is produced here, pumped here. It's got to flow into our domestic markets first." - Sarah Palin on domestic oil

I will say good job on "fungible."

Think McCain walked closer to her in case he needed to cut off her nonsense flow? I wish I knew what was going through his mind in that moment. I'd guess something along the lines of, "Stop talking, Sarah. Stop talking NOW. Stop. Stop talking. Shut up. Stop. Talking."

Read a valiant attempt to figure out what she's getting at here.

Thanks, Andrew Sullivan.

I just received one of those Nigerian style scam emails, and the grammar seemed awfully familiar to me. Are we sure that Palin was governing Alaska as she said, and wasn't in fact scamming people with the promise of 1 MILLION AMERICAN DOLLARS?

You read this, you be the judge (I did not change ANYTHING, mind you):
