Today, June 13th, is the 12th anniversary of my spinal fusion.
So it's 3:07am right now . . . which means that 12 years ago today, 13-year-old Lindsay Katai was getting her last hour of sleep before waking up to be at the hospital for her 6am surgery, only to wake up again 8 hours later - two titanium rods richer, four inches taller, and jacked up on drugs.
